Planet Ark’s new national BusinessRecycling website and hotline have been developed in partnership with the Department of Environment, Climate Change and Water NSW and Pitney Bowes. It is designed to help businesses, especially small to medium enterprises, find the recycling services they need with just a few clicks of the mouse.
Finding recycling options
The site lists recycling options, where they exist, for literally dozens of different types of materials. To find a service centre, just enter your location details into the boxes, choose a category and then choose a material. You’ll then see a screen with some basic recycling information, a map of local services and a list of both pick-up and drop-off services.
Following the links, you can find out more about the services in your area - including their contact details, their service details, whether fees apply and the full range of materials they collect.
If you’d prefer to speak with a person, the website is supported by a hotline (1300 763 768).
Recycling service providers are invited to list their services on the site – totally free of charge.
